Pregnant and Nursing: Provide increasing amounts of food the latter half of gestation, up to twice normal intake or more.
Feed to consumption during lactation.
Puppies: Introduce dry food at weaning and provide as much food as puppies will consume, feeding several times per day.
Growing puppies may require up to twice as much as adult dogs that are of the same weight.
Transitioning: When changing foods, it is not necessary but may be helpful to do so gradually over 7-10 days.
Water: Always keep a clean bowl with fresh water available for your pet.
